6 6 Validation Tool - Completed When there are no more errors in the data, the Summary will appear in green and the error log will be empty Summary is in green and shows 0 errors Error log is empty

9 9 Alma Library Tab Used to create a list of Libraries in Alma At least one library is mandatory Hyperlink to Language Codes - ISO Language 639-1 CodesISO Language 639-1 Codes

10 10 Alma Location Tab Used to map your locations to libraries in Alma. This is a mandatory tab

11 11 Item Base Status Tab Used to map your item statuses to Alma. This tab is not mandatory if you do not want to migrate your item statuses to Alma

12 12 Item Type Tab Used to migrate the ILS Item Type to the Alma Item Type. This tab is mandatory

13 13 Questionnaire Tab - Fulfillment

14 14 User Group Tab Used to distinguish groups of patrons from each other in determining different levels of circulation policies If patrons are being migrated, then this mapping table is mandatory

15 15 User Block Tab A user block is assigned to patrons that have a temporary suspension of borrowing privileges This mapping table is not mandatory

16 16 Campus Code Tab This tab should only be used if you answered “Yes” to the question on the Questionnaire tab: Use a map for the HOME LIBR to campus code migration? Mapping is not mandatory if you do not maintain separate patron campuses.

17 17 User Stat Categories Tab Use this tab if you have statistical categories in your patron records and you want them to migrate to Alma It is possible to have multiple fields that contain statistical codes

18 18 Course Unit Tab Use this tab only if you answered “Yes” to the question on the Questionnaire tab: Use Course Reserve BRANCH to Course Unit Map? This mapping is not mandatory if you do not have administratively separate course maintenance operations

19 19 Questionnaire Tab - Acquisitions

20 20 Reporting Code Tab Use this tab if you wish to map values from the FORM field to the Alma Reporting Code field This tab is not required

21 21 PO Claim Tab Used to set different claiming periods for orders migrated to Alma This tab is mandatory if migrating orders. If you do not wish to map claiming information from your legacy ILS, fill in the default values in the ALMAME_VAL_NOT_FOUND line only

22 22 PO Entry Point Tab The entry point value is used to determine where PO falls in the workflow in Alma The PO entry point is mandatory in Alma, so the ALMAME_VALUE_NOT_FOUND line is required to catch any STATUS (O) values that may not have been found in the map

23 23 PO Line Type Tab Used to define the line type of the migrated order as the PO may move through Alma workflows differently according to what type of item is on order This tab is mandatory if you are migrating orders. Include a line for ALMAME_VAL_NOT_FOUND since this field is mandatory in Alma

24 24 PO Acq Method Tab Used to determine the Acquisition Method of an order in Alma The PO Acq Method is mandatory in Alma, so the ALMAME_VALUE_NOT_FOUND line is required to catch any values that may not have been found in the map

25 25 Vendor Claim Tab The default claim cycle for vendors in Alma is set by mapping the CLAIMCYCLE field from your ILS This tab is mandatory if you are migrating vendors. However, if you do not want to map claiming information from your ILS, fill in the default values in the ALMAME_VAL_NOT_FOUND line only

26 26 Questionnaire Tab – P2E Which Holding or Bib field stores electronic link information Which Holding or Bib field stores electronic provider name information Which Holding or Bib field stores electronic link public note

27 27 Identify which locations indicate an electronic holding or item record See Electronic Resource Handling in Alma Migration document for more information about P2E P2E – Electronic Locations
