The Three Biblical Situations for Scenario II: Eliezer of Damascus choosing a wife for Isaac (Gen 24: 27) Abraham & the king of Sodom (Gen 14: 10 – 24) Esau Comes to Meet Jacob (Gen 32)

Purpose What are our adopted spiritual goals and purposes? Your purpose may be to bring the gospel to people, to make a family in a loving environment, to start a business. Whatever it is, let your purpose be one that pleases God. Biblical Examples for Scenario I:  Daniel 6 (Dan 6: 6 – 10)  The Three Young Men (Dan 3: 14 – 25)

Priorities How do you arrange our life’s priorities around our spiritual goals? You should keep in mind what you want to accomplish in your life, your ministry, and prioritize your goals. Prayerfully set your priority goals and objectives. Biblical Examples for Scenario I: :  Abraham & the king of Sodom (Gen 14: 21 – 24)  Eliezer of Damascus choosing a wife for Isaac (Gen 24: 2-4/ 12- 14)

Prayers Humbly pray for wisdom, guidance and submission to God’s will. Bring yourself and your plans to the will of God in prayer. Pray over your purposes, priorities and plans, and timing. Biblical Examples for Scenario I: :  King Solomon (1 Kings 3: 7 – 12)  Esau Comes to Meet Jacob (Gen 32: 10 – 21)

Planning Do we have discipline and wisdom to accomplish objectives? Make careful plans that will give you a strategy for accomplishing your objectives. An objective is your destination. A plan or strategy is the route. Biblical Examples for Scenario I: :  Feeding the Five Thousand (John 6: 10 – 14)  Joseph (Gen 41: 33 – 36)

Perseverance Do we have faith to persevere through discouragement? If you've prayed over your purpose and plans, have studied the Bible over the matter and have discussed them with God's people, obstacles may be God's way of telling you that His timetable is different from yours. Keep praying and looking for the opportunities that He will provide. ? Biblical Examples for Scenario I: :  Job in his trial (Job 2: 7 – 10)  Abraham and the Son of Promise (Gen 15: 1-6) (Gen 17: 17)

CASE: Try to suggest A Decision for the following case using the 5P’ s Process  A group of 15 Christians located in South Africa have finished their discipleship course which were given by the CCCA servants. Out of this group the CCCA servants have to choose one servant to go to a long term mission to Botswana.  Only 2 girls out of the 15 were nominated due to their high level of commitment and spirituality: Grace & Joy who are both single and are in their thirties. Both of them are very good looking and very much attached to their families.  Grace is a very successful girl in all aspects, she is very much emotionally stable. She is expecting a promotion in her job within few months. Grace’s grandmother is suffering Rheumatoid Arthritis and she is always helping her mother with her.  Joy is a very compassionate and sensitive girl, She had an unsuccessful love experience, where she tried to commit suicide one year ago. Joy desperately wants to make a family, but there is no opportunity for that so far.  If you were with the CCCA servants, which one should you decide to go to the mission. Verify your choice using the 5P’s Process of Decision Making

It is the will of God that we ourselves should have a great part in determining our path through life. This does not mean that God is not with us. Conclusion

God develops and tests our character by leaving us to decide. He calls us to be responsible citizens in His Kingdom. We make our decisions, and then our decisions turn around and make us. Conclusion
