2. OUR DECA MARKETING CLUB IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCED THAT ALL SLOTS HAVE BEEN FILLED FOR THEIR UPCOMING DECA REGION COMPETITION. LEADING OUR GLADIATORS INTO THIS YEAR’S COMPETITION WILL BE SENIOR OFFICERS, AHEELYA NAT AND DREW FOX. ALL 34 COMPETITORS WILL BEGIN COMPETITION WITH TESTING AND LATER WILL MOVE ON TO A ROLE PLAY. GOOD LUCK TO OUR DECA MARKETING CLUB REGION COMPETITORS!

3. JOHNS CREEK HIGH SCHOOL CHINESE CLUB WILL HAVE A BRIEF MEETING ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 21ST IN SRA. MARQUEZ'S ROOM AT 8 AM TO GO OVER CLUB PLANS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEMESTER. ANYONE INTERESTED IN HELPING MANAGE THE CHINESE CLUB TABLE FOR INTERNATIONAL NIGHT OR IN HOLDING AN OFFICER POSITION FOR NEXT YEAR SHOULD ATTEND.

4. Johns Creek High School If you were nominated for the National Spanish Honor Society, we encourage you to attend an informational meeting this Thursday at 8:00am in room 312. We will discuss the purpose of the society, eligibility requirements, and membership obligations. If you accept the nomination, bring a copy of your transcript to room 312 by this Friday.

5. Johns Creek High School There will be an S PAW meeting this week on Wednesday after school in Room 172. We will be sharing an important video so it may take longer than usual, but there will be food. Shirts are in, so anyone who bought one must come by to pick it up.

6. Johns Creek High School ROTC will have their first meeting of the semester today in room 261.

7. Johns Creek High School Attention Mock Trial Team Members: on Tuesday, January 12, the Defense Team will meet as a group in Room 267 to run through their side of the case. This meeting will last from 3:30 TO 5:30. On Thursday, January 14, all team members should be present to run through the entire case. We will have a guest judge, Mr. Matt Clarke, who will provide feedback from a practicing attorney’s perspective. This run through may last until 6:00. If you cannot attend one of these practices, please let Ms. Fitzpatrick or Ms. Atkins know and inform your team captain.

8. ANY JUNIOR THAT WOULD LIKE TO GO ON THE KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY VISIT ON JANUARY 26TH, 2016 NEEDS TO TURN THEIR NAME INTO MRS. POULOS IN THE COLLEGE CAREER CENTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
