HR’s CONTRIBUTION TO CORPORATE EXCELLENCE HR is a basic service organization that meets the requirements of the business, but makes no meaningful contribution to company strategies. “They just help us hire, fire and administer benefits.” In this scenario, HR is not strategic. HR perceives itself to be strategic but is not perceived that way by internal customers. Despite the best efforts of HR management, the perception is that HR is perceived as a basic service organization. Management uses parts of HR strategic capabilities, and has loosely formed perceptions of HR as more than a service organization.

HR’s CONTRIBUTION TO CORPORATE EXCELLENCE It helps firm to improve its performance by authorizing the right people of doing some exercises (production man. knows better how to train new workers than people in a separate HRM office). It helps the firm to increase the motivation f its workers, thus increase the performance. The main idea here is to make firm goals to individual ones. One very important thing is also finance. HRM deals with wages etc. (Line managers know better whom to pay extra bonuses). HRM helps to save a great deal of money and already its developing instead of personnel dept. saved money. HR is “best in class”. It is a strategic partner to the CEO and the rest of the executive team, and is a key contributor to the success of the business.

HR’s CONTRIBUTION TO CORPORATE EXCELLENCE HRM helps to develop organisation structures, because they have usually overview of the whole business. This point cannot usually be transferred to individuals and it's very important to business in the long term. It helps also to improve productivity. Its tasks include training, induction, recruitment, job description and redundancy, which all help to make the product better, thus increasing consumers' satisfaction. All these determine the goodwill and reputation of the company. HRM is included in record keeping, which helps the company with taxes and increases its performance (the data can be found quickly). As seen HRM helps businesses in many ways. It helps to save money and increase the reputation of the business. It deals with one of the most important things in business - with its work force. So no firm can be without HRM and the better and more efficient it is the more firm can benefit, by reducing its costs and increasing its goodwill.

HR’s CONTRIBUTION TO CORPORATE EXCELLENCE

INTRODUCTION The backbone of any successful company is the HR department, and without a talented group of people to hire, culture, and inform employees, the company is doomed for failure.

Do not be angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be … since you can not make yourself as you wish to be.

You listen to what your customers want and act on what they say. Good things happen when you pay attention. -John F. Smith

People don ’ t waste time. They just spend it on things they don ’ t need to do.

If you offer peanuts, you will get monkeys.

Whatever life has given to you, never complain. It is always more than you deserve. Always be grateful. Plan it carefully, if you fail to plan; it means that you are planning to fail.
