The Proposal Modifications to the Information Confidentiality Catalogue Unit-specific generation output levels. Intertie-specific flow information & Import Offer Guarantee settlement price data. Since January 22 NYISO & MISO commented on intertie information MSP responded to the IMO Board IMO Board decision - March 28, 2003 –approved additional generator information disclosure –decided in favour of Market Rule amendments –approved associated catalogue changes –requested staff to report back on implementation –requested periodic MSP review. Summary of Decisions as of March 28/03 Intertie-specific flow information & Import Offer Guarantee settlement price data flow information (schedules, flows, and limits) on a zonal basis, 5 to 10 minutes after. IOG information on a system wide basis. Line-specific transmission and intertie outage and maintenance information report on outages, 5 to 10 minutes after the fact. effect on interface limits, 5 to 10 minutes after the fact. planned outages, increase update frequency of reports.

Summary of Decision as of March 28/03 /cont’d Ontario native demand actual Ontario native demand by zones. fifteen days after the fact. Generator unit output information, with a minimum time delay of one hour after the dispatch hour actual generation capacity (MW) energy production (MWh). Generation outage and maintenance information on both a planned and historical basis, aggregated by fuel type.

Implementation Approach Implementation is costly - 50 person weeks and $500,000 MP interest is high IMO is juggling a number of priority items 2-stage approach

Stage 1 Provide as much of the information as possible in as timely a manner as possible Information will not be issued until the following business day Provide on a best-efforts basis Completion no sooner than the end of June

Stage 2 Full implementation, including near real-time disclosure Timing to be determined as part of the current corporate-wide work prioritization process
