4. Valentine's day is this Friday. Buy your friends a Candy Gram, write them a message, and have it delivered to them in their homeroom on Friday morning. Each gram is 50 cents and will be sold during all lunch periods!

5. Tuesday is the last day to bring in jeans for the Jeans for Teens drive. MAPS will be collecting the bags from each home room on Tuesday after school.

8. On Tuesday, February 11th, and Wednesday February 12th, the Global Awareness Club will be having a bake sale in the cafeteria. All proceeds go to Philippine Relief Fund.

9. The freshman basketball team finished their season in Altoona yesterday with a close game, OC 35 Altoona 36 Simone Jahn hit a team high 8 points and Laura Escher and Meredith Flanagan shared rebounding duties with 8 each. Great game Freshman Eagles!

16. This year the OC Queens merged with the Central Vi-Kings for our first victory over Peters Township HS. OC needed only one more match to win but all 3 matches were touch and go, but at 4 o'clock it was necessary to switch to the clocks for a 10 minute game time limit. Sadly, rushed by the clock, Captain Emily Carney on Bd 3, lost 2 pieces and her game. Score: OC/CC 2 PT 1

17. Chess Results Happily, Abby Ceraso won the deciding match with a strong 2 rook and queen unstoppable attack for checkmate.

19. The Anatomy Club will meet on Thursday, Feb 13th after school in the Lecture Hall.Our guest speaker will be cardiologist Dr. Marroquin.
