2. Write an “I am” Poem TODAY: Write your answers to the prompts on the next slide to create a poem about who you are. FOR HOMEWORK: TYPE up your poem. CENTER IT with 10-12 point font, PRINT IT out and bring it in to class. Make sure you type your name after the poem! Tomorrow IN CLASS: Create a visual SYMBOL (see example) -- SOMETHING WITH AT LEAST TWO VISUAL CLUES THAT YOU CAN RELATE TO YOUR PERSONALITY OR LIFE -- to display with your poem. This should be flat and something that has meaning to your life. You may bring in supplies, but some, like the sample will be made available in class. GRADED ON DEPTH OF EFFORT AND CREATIVITY!!
