8  Always think ahead about what you are going to say  Use simple words and phrases that are understood by everybody  Increase your knowledge on all subjects you are required to speak  Speak clearly and audibly  Check twice with the listener whether you have been understood accurately or not Effective Communication

9  In case of an interruption, always do a little recap of what has been already said  Always pay undivided attention to the speaker while listening  While listening, always make notes of important points.  Always ask for clarification if you have failed to grasp other's point of view.  Repeat what the speaker has said to check whether you have understood accurately. 12 Be a keen LISTENER Always have yourself positioned facing the speaker and maintain eye contact. Stay Attentive. Only then will you have a Clear Mind to Take in any information. Don't try to Interject while the speaker is still speaking. Wait for them to pause.

13 Learn to be Assertive Be confident and assured of your decisions without showing any Aggression. Respect your Team's Opinions as much as you respect yours. Always respond in a Respectful way and Humble manner. Take responsibility over your thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
