3. Biography Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, more commonly Leonardo da Vinci was a famous Renaissance painter, a scultptor, an architect, a draftsman and engineer. He was from Tuscany in Italy. His father was a famous notary in Florence and mother was a woman from the village of Anchiano. His date of birth was the fifteenth of April 1452. When he was a child he drew a lot. His father saw boy’s talent and he took Leonardo to school Andrea Verrocchio. Leonardo da Vinci worked for Ludwik Sforza and he created a lot of great works. He was also the inventor of flying machines, musical instruments and hundreds of other things. Some experts have followed his designs for flying machine and have produced one that can fly! Leonardo da Vinci died the second of May 1519. Today his works are very popular and expensive.

16. My favorite painting by Leonardo da Vinci My favourite painting by Leonardo da Vinci is,,The Mona Lisa”. It’s oil painting on a poplar wood panel. The original painting is in the museum in Paris. Leonardo da Vinci painted it about 1503-1506. It’s one of the world’s most famous. The sitter’s mysterious smile and her unproven identity have made the painting a source of ongoing investigation and fascination. At least a dozen excellent replicas of the Mona Lisa exist, many of them by the master’s students. Leonardo’s portrait is also the inspiration for the classic song “Mona Lisa” by American lyricist Ray Evans and songwriter Jay Harold Livingston. People created about her a few films and books.
