2. Devices used to measure fluid pressure.
Barometer – An instrument used to measure air pressure. Air pressure is caused by the weight of particles in the air. Your body fluid pressure is equal to the air pressure around you so you do not feel the air pressure. Air pressure decreases as altitude increases.

3. Devices used to measure fluid pressure.
Manometer – An instrument used to measure water pressure. Water exerts pressure due to the weight of the water particles. This pressure is applied in all directions. Water pressure increases as the object goes deeper.(like a sub.).
