Scrapings Were Inoculated Onto BAP, MSA, EMB, & Fungal Media
Ordered UV Exam of Scalp Region
Fluorescence was present

Impetigo / Staph infection
Insect Bites
Contact Dermatitis / Allergy
Mycobacterium abscessus

Primary Antimicrobial Agent of Choice is Terbinafine (Lamisil)
Alternate Choices are Itraconazole, Fluconazole, or Griseofulvin

Through Contact With Animals
Poor Hygiene and Prolonged Wetness
Contagious / Contact With Infected People or Clothing
To Prevent From Spreading all clothing and household items should be cleaned and dried thoroughly before reuse
Always Wash Hands
No Contact With Other Children Until Lesions are Gone
