“Nǐ hǎo ma?” is the direct translation of “How are you?”
However, in Zhōng guó (China), people do not say “Nǐ hǎo ma?”
Usually, people just greet each other by saying “Nǐ hǎo” or “Zǎo shàng hǎo”.
