2 Plain land with relatively low relief, that is flat or gently rolling

3 Desert region that receives an extremely low amount of precipitation, less than enough to support growth of most plants.

9 Archipelago a chain or cluster of islands

10 Peninsula a piece of land that is bordered by water on three sides but connected to the mainland

11 Reef a rock, sandbar, or other feature lying beneath the surface of the water

12 Mountain Range a geographic area containing numerous mountains

13 Valley an elongated lowland between ranges of mountains or hills

14 Canyon a deep ravine between cliffs often carved from the landscape by a river

15 Plateau is an area of highland, usually consisting of relatively flat terrain

17 Marsh an area of soft, wet, low-lying land, characterized by grassy vegetation

18 Ocean entire body of salt water that covers more than 70 percent of the earth's surface

21 Bay a body of water partially enclosed by land but with a wide mouth
