11 However, most church leaders spend their time here…

13 = Time and Energy However, most church leaders spend their time here…or here. The reason is simple. These people are the messiest! The result, however, is that the disciples won’t mature as fast or as well.

14 = Time and Energy However, most church leaders spend their time here…or here. The reason is simple. These people are the messiest! The result, however, is that the disciples won’t mature as fast or as well. The new believers (converts) will depend further on the leadership, thus taking up more of the leadership’s time.

15 = Time and Energy However, most church leaders spend their time here…or here. The reason is simple. These people are the messiest! Unfortunately, the leadership will eventually burn-out or the entire church will center around them. The result, however, is that the disciples won’t mature as fast or as well. The new believers (converts) will depend further on the leadership taking up more of their time.

16 We are all finite and must perform our roles well. When each person in each phase does their role well, the body will be well balanced and will help prevent some from being overworked while others are under-worked.

Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. 1 Pet. 5:3 : not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.
