4. MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS Repentance means that we admit that we have sinned and our sins have alienated us from God and we can’t do anything about it on our own.

6. MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS The first step, repentance, is admitting that we have a horrible disease called sin. The second step, belief, is opening the door so the Great Physician can come in and heal us!

8. MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS If I really believe that God has come into my life space and told me that I am a sinner who is separated from Him, and the only way I can be reconciled to Him is through His Son, Jesus, then I will come to Jesus to get that reconciliation.

9. MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS It is important that we understand these words of Jesus are words of command!

10. MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS Every creature is commanded to believe in the Lord Jesus and to bow the knee at his name.
