2.  Every Thursday after Economics Unit (Hot Topics will be during 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th grading periods)

3.  Hot Topics will cover controversial topics in today’s world  You will discuss your opinions with classmates and learn the different political views

4.  Pre-discussion assignment Wednesday nights  Discussion in class on Thursday  Journal/assignment Thursday evening

5.  In addition- you can earn extra credit on Fridays if you do your current event on the topic we discussed

6.  Answer prompts for journal- they will either be turned in on Fridays in class, or submitted online through the webpage (if I post that option for the Hot Topic)

7.  Journals are to be minimum one page in length, stating your opinion
