8 ROMAN PROVINCIAL EXCAVATION AND SURVEY Excavation near the imperial road and the Mures river of the political and military centres Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana and Apulum Aim to understand the impact of communication and commerce in the rural regions of the Roman province Investigate the relationship between the Late Iron settlements and the Roman sites 20 Participants 1585 US dollars 5 weeks
