Seasonal winds that blow over a continent for months at a time providing heavy rainfall. Wind direction depends on the seasons – summer or winter. Occurs in Southeast Asia. Develop over land – Asia.

Violent funnel shaped cloud that touches the earth and causes damage. Occurs in the United States. During spring and summer seasons. Tornado Alley – Great Plains (central U.S. area).
