3 Chapter 1 Where is the Rainforest? The Rainforest is in Africa, Amazon and Southern Asia. Most rainforests are located near the equator.

4 Chapter 2 Types of animals in the Rainforest The animals you will see in the rainforest will be frogs, parrots, toucans, bengal tigers, gorillas, spider monkeys, boa constrictors, red-eyed tree frogs, and the poison dart frogs.

5 Chapter 3 Types of plants in the Rainforest The rainforest has more plants there than anywhere on Earth. The trees are big. They have long leaves to keep you dry, The carniverous plant can grow to be 30 feet tall. It eats insects, small mammals, and repitles.

6 Chapter 4 The layers in the Rainforest There are four layers in the rainforest. The first layer is called the forest floor. The second layer is called the understory layer. The third layer is called the canopy layer. The last layer is called the emergent layer. This layer has the tallest trees.

7 Glossary Equator-it divides the earth into the Northern and Southern hemispheres Layers- a depth of levels Rainforest- dense forest found in the tropics with a lot of rainfall
