3.  MI theory  Proposed by Howard Gardner in 1983  Purpose: 1. better describe the concept of intelligence 2. challenge traditional IQ tests

4.  Seven intelligences: logical / mathematical: logic, abstract concepts, reasoning and numbers visual / spatial: mental images, sensitivity to shape, size and color body / kinesthetic: control one’s bodily motions and the capacity to handle objects skillfully
