Global trend: every user likes to choose its personal point of view With our technology, tv viewers take control of the event : user chooses the camera and the moment, replays whenever she wants without losing a second of the real-time action. The main feature of our technology is camera zapping time: 0.15 seconds, lowest time in the world. Any video signal can be used, not only production signal but also videos recorded by spectators in/around the venue or video output coming from internet apps and mixed with the action video. *user interfaces may be customized for each event

Advantages of our multicam platform from the cloud  The main feature is the quick cam change using our technology: 0.15 seconds, the world’s fastest.  Easily integrated into OTT platforms, IP STBs, HbbTV or connected TVs apps as a button/overlay in the player.  Pre-installed in cloud to reduce launch time.  Minimized cost: when the user does not want to use the multicam feature, the system switches back to the main customer distribution.

Example of a multicam project launched from cloud (II)  Often, sport venues are connected to a fiber ring and all camera signals are already captured and carried to a central facility.  In this scenario, Cinfo local encoder rack is not needed and camera output is transmited to Cinfo AWS platform.  If converting signals from each camera to IP is required, a simple way to do it is adding an encoder to the camera, then send the signal via fiber or satellite.  Cinfo Platform is based on GPU and Erlang code. Local installation at Operator Headend is also possible but economies of scale for massive usage are lost if that route is followed.

9. Business models We propose 2 business models: a)Full scale: User can access Multicamera service for the whole duration of the event. This model is suited for VoD PPV events. –Current Cost per 2hour session for 100.000 users around 0,4€/user. b)Replay mode: User can join Multicamera service at any moment to access the replays. Every user can use up to 5 replays (limited in time) per match. –Current Cost per 2hour session for 100.000 users around 0,046€/user. This model is easily supported by sponsorship.

Multicam-Replay model  User chooses when to access to the multicam-replay mode, a limited number of times.  The use of multicam service is limited in time (5 hits during the event, with 2 minutes long each one, or 5 minutes during the break and at the end of the event). When the session finishes, it automatically switches back to the main customer distribution.  Multicam mode allows viewing the live production signal in PiP.  Throughout the event, a small promoted banner has to remember the possibility to access the multicam-replay mode. This is responsibility of the operator (e.g. after goals or controversial plays). Once in the multicam player, Full Scale model will be offered by Cinfo’s platform, as an upgrade from replay mode, where the user can access with no time limits.  The replay service is free for the user.

12. Revenue sharing model for pilots Cinfo takes care of the initial investment of the project (development, integration and platform deployment). Operator customer shall only deliver the IP video streams from the different cameras of the event to the Cinfo videocloud platform. The cloud services, needed to resize dinamically the system, and the traffic costs are also assumed by Cinfo. Operator customer does not need to make any investments. This revenue sharing model requires a guaranteed mínimum annual streams among all events. Project lasts 1 year and results are evaluated afterwards. Business model is “replay mode”. Full scale model will be offered as PPV to users of replay mode. Revenues will be split at 50% after the first 100.000€, recouped by Cinfo as installation costs. Customer receives a revenue based on incomes from sponsorships or from users who pay for the addon.
