IMANI’S PLEDGE TO NEW MEMBERS We will bear your burdens as if they are our own. (Gal. 6:2.) We will pray for and seek your growth and blessings in Christ and encourage you along the way. (Heb. 12:12, 13; III Jn. 2; James 2:15, 16; Eph. 6:18.) If we should ever offend you in any way, we will “leave” our “gift before the altar” and seek to be reconciled to you first. (Matt. 5:23, 24.)

If we should ever feel offended by something you say or do, we will not backbite about you nor hold resentment toward you, but rather seek to resolve it by speaking to you first—alone. (Matt. 18:15-17.) IMANI’S PLEDGE TO NEW MEMBERS

If we see you sin, we will seek through prayer that God show you a better way, and we will only speak to you about it if— and only if—the Holy Spirit leads us to do so and would conduct that conversation privately. (II Tim. 2:24-26; I Jn. 5:16; James 5:19.) IMANI’S PLEDGE TO NEW MEMBERS

We will join you in supporting the gospel mission of this local church through our finances, our time, our service, and our prayers. (Acts 20:34, 35; Lk. 9:23; II Thess.3:1.) IMANI’S PLEDGE TO NEW MEMBERS

You are needful to the body and we want you to share your spiritual gifts with us, and we will share our spiritual gifts with you so that our church and others may be edified and so that Jesus may soon come. (I Cor. 12:14-18; Eph. 4:11-13.)
