4 The penny is a US coin worth one cent.US coin Pennies are copper plated zinc and have a smooth edge. The first Lincoln penny was issued in 1909, the 100 th anniversary of Lincoln's birth. This was the first US coin to picture a President.

5 The nickel is a US coin worth five cents.US coin Nickels are made out of a nickel/copper alloy. Nickels have a smooth edge. The Jefferson nickel has been minted since 1938, when it replaced the Indian Head/Buffalo nickel.

6 The dime is a US coin worth ten cents.US coin It is the smallest, thinnest and lightest US coin. The Roosevelt dime has been minted since 1946, when it replaced the Liberty Head dime.

7 The quarter is a US coin worth twenty five cents.US coin Quarters are made out of an alloy of copper and nickel. The George Washington quarter has been minted since 1932, when it replaced the Liberty quarter.
