4 Scroll down and click on the “Update” button on one of your Programs For Example, for Aquaculture, you would click here.

5 Navigate through each outcome by clicking on the corresponding number.

6 Provide your data in the “Results of Assessment” section and the “Use of the Results” Section For Each Student Learning Outcome…

7 Tips on writing Results Clear – make sure that a third person reading it understands what it is that is being said Include numbers when giving percentages (ex. N=4) Be detailed and specific You can include an explanation if needed (ex. “state changed requirements mid-year, embedded test questions no longer used”)

8 “Results of Assessment” Examples “We compared our graduates VTNE scores in the Dental Related subgroup and found that HCC was 3% above the national average; HCC = 67.20%, National = 64.20% (n=46)” “Out of 60 students, 65% passed the statewide exam, however that was 55% (n=20) in Summer 2010, 65% (n=20) in Fall 2010, and 75% (n=20)in Spring 2011” “Out of embedded questions numbers 5, 8, and 14 of Exam 2, students correctly answered at rates of 90%, 87%, and 89%, respectively (n=56).”
