1 William V. Richardson Jr. and John T. Barrera Container Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Warehousing Application United States Marine Corps Individual Issue and Unit Issue Facility (IIF and UIF) Implementation Training Course

2 Purpose To demonstrate the capability to create, make updates and delete Container(s) used for storage and item location.

3 Background Once a Container Type is established, containers can be used to represent storage platforms ranging from pallets to cardboard boxes to tri-walls. Locations must be available prior to creating a container since they will always have an associated location.

4 Situation As the Site Manager at a Region, the Warehouse Officer has directed you to create a Warehouse Container used for overflow storage and make any necessary adjustments such as: updates and deletions.

5 Container Navigate to Warehouse Mgmt tab. (1) Click on the ‘Container’ option. 1

6 Container (2) Click on the button to create a new container record. 2

7 Container (3) Check Marks represent required entries or adjustments. (4) Click on the button. 3 4

8 Container (5) Click on the button. (6) Select the appropriate values. Click the button. 2 6 5

9 Container (6) Click on the button. (7) After making the appropriate updates, click the button. 6 7

10 Container (8) To delete a Container, Click on the button. (9) To confirm the Delete action, click the button. 8 9

11 Container (10) Container is no longer available. 10
