1. Do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name.”

2. Ezekiel 5:5 5 This is what the Sovereign L ORD says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her.

Deuteronomy 4:5-6 5 See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the L ORD my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. 6 Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

I Samuel 8:5-7 5 They said to him, “You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have.” 6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the L ORD. 7 And the L ORD told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.”
