TOTS: CBA - Time in Rank CBA (CD-ROM) to verify candidates understanding of “Time in Rank” tasks CBA = c.2000 Questions: Total Dataset 18-20 CBA assessments each Record book TOTS Time in Rank Certification Follows The Candidate 1x CBA CD-ROM (2A) with each Record book: section assessment 1 x CBA CD-ROM (2B) held by Company, taken under exam conditions

12 3. TOTS: CBA - Time with Company CBA based company verification process to verify candidates understanding of “Time with Company” Tailor made Company Specific Officer Changes Company- Must Re-Train for Time in Company

13 4. Ship Specific Practical Simulator Verification/Training Simulator courses specifically designed to meet TOTS standard. Can be run by any externally accredited Maritime Training Centre Trains & Verifies tanker type knowledge in three areas –Crude Oil Module –Product Module –Chemical Module

16 “E-TOTS” Licensing In response to many of Seagulls customers and INTERTANKO members requesting an easier method of adopting (TOTS): Seagull and INTERTANKO have negotiated a non exclusive agreement to TOTS in E-Format In the Seagull “Training Administrator” E-TOTS provides a simple tool to administer to monitor remotely and allow more companies to adopt the initiative with minimal extra workload. Launch May 2009
