Improved dry running:
The stationairy seal ring on the SIC/SIC seal is designed with ”wings” which avoids un-wanted rotation > No risk of damaging the o-ring.
The stationary ring touches the motor flange > heat transfer will not damage the o-ring

Shaft seal can be dismantled for inspection with out special tools
