2 Data from: AGI’s National Geoscience Student Exit Survey: Career Trajectories of Undergraduate Students Upon Completion of Their Degree (2012). 46 departments that participated, 296 students completed the survey—233 undergraduate students (UG), 40 Master’s students, and 21 Doctoral students (grouped as graduate students, GRAD). Please note that the number participants represents only a small fraction of the student population. Using the 2010 number for comparison, there were 4,802 Bachelor’s degrees granted, 1,677 Master’s, and 713 PhD granted.
