2 Current Copays Nominal copays are charged to: o AHCCCS for Families with Children o YATI o State Adoption Assistance o Aged 65 or older, blind or disabled and SSI o Aged 65 or older, blind or disabled and SSIMAO o FTW Mandatory copays are charged to: o Transitional Medical Assistance (TMA) 2 Reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care for those in need

3 January 2014 Changes Persons in the adult group have no copay requirement- either mandatory or non mandatory Rules added new copayment exemptions for all members for well visits and preventive services 3 Reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care for those in need

4 Changes Planned for October 2015 Mandatory, increased copays for new adult group for persons over 106% FPL to 133% FPL Exploring: o Mandatory copays for members 18 and older o $8 copay for Non-Emergency Use of the Emergency Room (operational impacts) o Possible copay charge for inpatient stay o Increases to nominal copay amounts Proposed rules – plan to post in Spring Changes contingent on CMS approval of waiver for SMI and Acute HCBS for 90 Days 4 Reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care for those in need

5 Future Changes Planned AHCCCS aware of recent Bill for Premiums and Waiver and we are working on it; this process will take time 5 Reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care for those in need
