History Snug Harbor Built in 1983 Parking in Right-of-Way Over 30 Years Formal MOU submitted to town in 2008 Verbal approval by town for entrance sign

Current Situation Lost approximately 75 feet of ROW Mediation resulted in nearly 6000 sq feet Expect sq footage to be graded and graveled Primary purpose to provide overflow parking Parking subject to Town’s restrictions Parking subject HOA restrictions HOA not structured to own or manage common property

Recommended Traffic Pattern Pattern would avoid existing wall Pattern would avoid vehicle backing Pattern would favor departing the parking area directly on to Snug Harbour Drive Pattern would accommodate 10-12 vehicles Pattern depicted on next slide

Proposed Pattern

Request Establish an MOU based on the exclusive use of the ROW for Snug Harbor residents. No or nominal cost to individual residents who desire to use the ROW Justify this action from the precedent of over 30 years of use of the original ROW.
