Matthews 18:21-35
We will look at the story of the unmerciful servant and see what characteristic Jesus displays and practice that during our fast.
But before we get into the story, I have a question.

Now lets get into our story. What is the first thing that happened?
Peter asked, “How many times should I forgive my brother, seven times?”
Jesus replies, “Seventy times seven.”

The debt the king forgave the first servant of was far more than what the second servant owed the first.
The first servant did not practice mercy and forgiveness after he had received mercy and forgiveness.
Explain why you think the wicked servant was unwilling to forgive his fellow servant?
How much is 100 silver coins worth?
There is no answer outlined in the text other than that the servant was wicked. Some answers given in our lesson were, he was bitter, angry, holding on to the past, & did not embrace his own forgiveness. These are all things that can make you unforgiving and unmerciful.
