2. Step 1: Double click on My computer. You should see something like this. WatchWatch

3. Step 2: Click on “My Documents.” (On Windows 98, open up the C: Drive to find “My Documents.”) WatchWatch

4. Step 3: Select the documents you want to save. To select more than one, hold down the ctrl key and click. To select a range: click on the first, hold down the shift key, and click on the last. Watch

5. Step 4: Click on the right mouse button. Then choose copy. Watch Watch

6. Step 5: Click on the “drop down arrow.” Select the H: drive. Yours will say Instructional on AMS. WatchWatch

7. Step 6: You may see another folder. Double click on this.

8. Step 7: You should see a folder with your user name. Double click on this.

9. Step 8: This is your user folder. From now on, make it a habit to save here.

10. Step 9: Click the right button on the mouse. Then choose “Paste” with the left button. WatchWatch

11. Step 10: Your files will be copied over. Check your file size. (Click on View, then Details if this doesn’t show.) File sizes will be larger than 1KB and won’t say short cut here. Watch

12. Finished Congratulations! Be sure to keep saving your files on the server.
