All Y12 students will participate in the Extension Programme
All students will have attained at least a C grade in GCSE English and Maths by the end of Y12. (If they have not attained at least a C grade in GCSE English and Maths in Y11 they will be required to study for these subjects again in Y12). In addition, GCSE Science will be available
Students may be required to attend timetabled Study Support lessons in Y12

10. Our Offer - Entry Criteria
Sixth Form Offer will be dependent on two separate entry criteria:
‘Attainment 8’ Score – based on GCSE grades in English, Maths, Science (including Computer Science and for 2016, BTEC Science), MFL, Humanities subject (s) + other subjects
Subject specific entry criteria e.g. A Level Economics requires a GCSE B grade in English and Maths
Students will be made an offer based on predicted grades taken from January Progress Checks

Outcome: A Levels in English Literature, Economics, Chemistry and Biology

13. Student 2
Ahmed achieved the following at KS4: B in GCSE English Language , C in English Literature, C in GCSE Maths, Pass in BTEC Level 2 Science, E in GCSE French, E in GCSE Geography, G in GCSE Food Technology and a B in Drama. He has therefore attained the following points:
Total = X2 + 5X = 44
Offer: General Pathway - 3 A Levels or 1/2 L3 vocational programmes + 1 A Level
Outcome: A Level in English Language, BTEC L3 Performing Arts

14. Student 3
Shilpa achieved the following at KS4: D in GCSE English Language, E in English Literature , E in GCSE Maths, a F in GCSE Business Studies, a F in GCSE RE and a E in GCSE Art. She has therefore attained the following points:

16. Year 11 Mock Exams 30th November – 11th December.
Students will be on study leave during this period.
Students late to an exam will be refused entry and study leave privilege may be removed.
Marks will be used to determine tiers of entry and predicted grades for applications to the Sixth Form.
GCSE Science students will all be given the opportunity to sit the Higher paper.
Receive results in an awards assembly in January.
