4 Disks Intervertebral disk lie between the vertebrae. Two Parts
Allows for movement and flexibility. Space for nerves. Provides cushion between bones. Two Parts Jelly like core (nucleus pulposus) Cartilage Layer (annulus fibrosus) Do not heal like other tissues.

5 Muscles, tendons, and Ligaments
Muscles and Tendons Act like anchors on a mast of a ship. Allow us to make the movement necessary for sports. Ligaments Prevent bones from separating. Allow for flexion and movement without allowing the bones to separate completely.
