3  The display gives the student the formula.  It then asks for the parts of the formula (force and distance).  When the student clicks the calculate button the information is then calculated and an answer is displayed.

9  As a sample project I created a program for calculating the volume of an object.  The program gives the formula for volume and then asks for the parts of the formula; length, width, and height.  This will work with the density formula if you have to calculate the density of a regularly shaped object that has a definite length, width and height.

13  Use to help students identify parts of formulas and what to insert in those parts.  Use as a review after teaching the formulas.  Use as a review before STAAR to reinforce concepts.  Use as a tool during tutoring sessions.  Use as an assignment for students who need calculators to do the work.
