3. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace.”

5. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

6. 31 Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

7. Be brutally honest with the Counselor.

8. Cast your cares on the L ORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

9. Listen to the Counselor's voice

10. Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”

11. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

12. Do what the Counselor tells you to do

13. Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
