2. Backgrounder The hospital opened on 3, October 1999 and it was established by the Environment Agency in Abu Dhabi. Animal care center was the opening on the ADFH Pet Care Center on 1st of July 2007 In 2010, the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital was put in charge to manage the newly founded Abu Dhabi Animal Shelter upon a decision of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

3. Fact about the Falcon hospital It's the largest falcon hospital in the world. The patient influx: more than 75,000 patients in the first fourteen years of existence. Yearly around 11,200 falcons are received for examinations and treatment. The ADFH has expanded in the fields of education and awareness, training and research The hospital won the Middle East’s Responsible Tourism Award at the World Travel Awards for the third consecutive year. The hospital, which runs multi-lingual tours, has already won 25 international awards including a Certificate of Excellence last year from Trip Advisor for its tour programme. (the national, 2015)

7. How to adopt? You can choose a pet on our website and arrange an appointment to see it here in our shelter. Once you are sure that this is the cat/dog you like, you fill an adoption form. Then you can take it back home. You can also come at the opening time to see the pet you want. - Sunday to Thursday: 8am – 4:45om - Saturday and Friday: 9am - 1pm f you wish to get a special cat or dog breed, you can register with us for the “Wish Pet”.

Information you should know Before the adoption the pet get vaccinated and microchipped and receive medication against fleas and worms You will pay around 450 for any cat you want, but in dogs the price will be different depend on the dog. All pets were having surgeries to preventing them from reproduction

The hospital will provide fun and support opportunity for you to participate in agility, obedience, and activities with your dog The opening hours: 8:00am to 5:00 pm. 7 days a week -feeds Dhs 15/ hour
