2. © The Association of Independent Schools of NSW Reflections on 2014  For the AISRTO it was a very busy year preparing for the ASQA audit  The audit was in November and involved 10 schools,15 qualifications and 14 teachers Thank you to all teachers and compliance officers who were involved in the audit

4. © The Association of Independent Schools of NSW Lessons Learnt  Training and Assessment Strategies  Must meet qualification packaging rules, include assessment plan and check clustering of units  Assessment tools  Assessment tasks clearly linked to units from Training Package – everything must be covered  CAN – must be in plain language and specific  Types of assessment tasks must be appropriate to the unit. Eg. If the unit says “the student must have a knowledge of…” an Observation checklist is not a good type of assessment
