2 1. The Fall 2009 Wellness semester runs from 8/31/09 – 12/ 18/09. 2. Only faculty and staff with benefits are eligible to participate. 3. Prior to participation for the current wellness semester, all participants must have an EAP or receipt of payment on file as well as a signed waiver/participation agreement. 4. These forms can be found on the wellness website (http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/wellness/). Contact Brenda Salas or Lori Stegeman for additional assistance. Completed forms are sent to Lori Stegeman in HR/Mannakee. 5. Once you have registered for classes, no refunds can be issued.

3  All classes are $40 per format, regardless of the number of times per week the class meets.  Fitness Center/Open Gym fee is $50 for unlimited use for the wellness semester.  Fees for retirees are: $30 per class format and $30 for open gym use.  Eligible faculty and staff may use EAP funds or may elect to pay out of pocket.  A completed EAP form or a copy of the cashier’s receipt must accompany a signed waiver/participation agreement before your participation.

4  Aqua Aerobics: Have fun and get fit in the water!  Body Conditioning: Resistance Exercise using body bars, hand weights, tubes and more.  Burn and Build: Group Personal Training  Butts & Guts: Strengthen core and more!  Cardio Dance: Lively dance aerobics set to today’s top hits.  Exercise for Joint Mobility: Led by an Arthritis Foundation instructor, this class is helps improve functional movement.  Pilates: Based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates, lengthen and strengthen your body with specific Pilates- movements.  Spin: Take a virtual ride through the countryside in this indoor, stationary cycle class.  Step: Cardio + Leg conditioning set to fun music.  Yoga: Stretch and connect mind and body in this class.  Zumba: Shake, shake, shake to fun Latin music!

9  Certified personal fitness trainers staff the wellness hours.  No employee or staff may use the gym or fitness center unless an attendant is on duty.  Attendants are there to work with you one- on-one, please ask for their assistance!  Registering for one gym allows you to use all 3 gyms (Rockville, Germantown and TP/SS).  All participants must undergo an orientation session before using equipment. Schedule your orientation with the attendant on duty.
