2 WG3: The Role of the Private Sector in …. 2 Successful African Firms and Institutional Change (SAFIC) project: Participants: CBS, Roskilde University, University of Nairobi, University of Dar es Salaam and University of Zambia Period: 2012-2017 Overall objectives: * To investigate how and why African (Kenyan, Tanzanian and Zambian owned) firms are more or less successful in changing business and institutional environments. * To contribute to the capacity building of the involved African universities among senior researchers and graduating 5 PhD scholars and 21 Master students in the field.
