1  First correct or nearest answer wins a prize!  How many public computer terminals are available in UK public libraries?  How many hours of internet access do public libraries provide per year?  As a baseline every public library service should provide which 3 facilities/services?  Name 2 more digital facilities/services that are included in the Digital offer?  Which SW based Authority has a FabLab, and what equipment can you use there?  Of the UK residents considered “offline”, what % are disabled?  What % of employers would not interview entry level candidates lacking ICT skills?

2  Advocating libraries as a place of true connectivity, resource and skills for service users, residents, visitors and focussing particularly strength on the needs of the 8 million UK residents who are not online, providing the digital skills and space to participate and engage digitally  Demonstrating the impact of libraries digital capability. Society of Chief Librarians will ensure that a practical, affordable and comprehensive plan is laid out to bring digital technologies to all communities via their local public library

3  Society of Chief Librarians is committed to identifying and resolving skills gaps of library leaders, and is committed to the digital skills development of library staff.  Society of Chief Librarians will take an alert and proactive approach to and by accelerating knowledge capture and dissemination across library services, facilitating and encouraging a knowledge sharing culture to innovation and new digital developments using online and offline methods.
