4 3.12 Introducing Yards Identify objects in the classroom that look to be about 1 yard. Then using a yard stick, check your estimates.

5 3.12 Introducing Yards Yardsticks are helpful for measuring objects that are about one to two yards long, but they are not so helpful for measuring longer distances. Raise your hand if you know a measuring tool that could be used to measure the width of the classroom.
