2 Typically built between 1720-1840 1-2 stories high Made of wood in the North and stone in the South (United States) These buildings are symmetrical, have a 9 on 9 or 7 on 7 window pattern, and have intricate designs above and around the door Modern Georgian home in Australia

3 The style is very symmetrical, there are dull red and brown colors, a rough texture, and a very good balance They were built in the United States from the New England area, down through Georgia, in England during king George I-IV, and all the way up to Canada in the mid 1700's Generally, they are built for residential houses but can be used for government buildings, such as the picture below Independence Hall in Philadelphia
