5 Answer to #1 »1. Little ‘d’ means a medical diagnoses of deafness and it only represent what the person has. Big ‘D’ represent the identity of one being Deaf. Mrs. Bader and Mr. Tom represents as big ‘D’ as they are part of deaf culture, uses ASL, has pride and being Deaf shaped the way they are now.
