2. About his life... Andy Warhol was born as Andrew Warhola on the 6 th August 1928 in Pittsburgh-Pennsylvania- U.S. But sadly he died on the 22 nd February 1987,aged only 58. His mother was called Julia Warhola but he didn’t have a father. From a young age he took an interest in photography and drawing so he went to some free classes at the Carnegie institute.

3. About his art... Andy is most known for his famous pictures of Marilyn Monroe, but they aren't just ordinary pictures and paintings of her they were negative, positive and all different colours in different places of her face and the background. 5. Interesting facts... Andy almost died from getting shot in the chest three times by a woman called Valerie Solanis. She said that he had too much control over her life. Valerie was the founder of a club called SCUM (Society for cutting up men). Andy was very religious but was also gay. He died in hospital from a heart attack that was caused by a fluid over dose after he had his gallbladder surgery. That's her! BANG! BANG! BANG!

6. After he died... Even 20 years after he died lots of young artists followed his art ways and the press had made a lot of stories about him.
