1. October 7, 2007 Pray for North American missionaries Jerry and Sherry Field: That more churches and associations will answer God’s call to plant churches to reach the unreached in Missouri. For wisdom and discernment to lead the church planting team. For God to raise up “called” people to pastor the new churches that are started in Missouri.

2. October 14, 2007 Pray for International missionaries Glen and Jeri Moore and their children: For God to call someone to serve in supporting fellow missionaries through the logistics coordinator role in Mozambique. For a roving logistics coordinator in the Central, Eastern and Southern Africa Region. For an assistant logistics coordinator in Kenya and Tanzania. For someone to serve in overseeing the construction and the guest house in Johannesburg for two years. For continual safety in traveling around the CESA Region.

3. October 21, 2007 Pray for North American missionaries Tommy and Nancy Hinson: For a church planter to pastor the new Hispanic mission in Arkansas City. For the new Laotian mission in Winfield. For the extension of Southern Baptists’ witness into the 29 towns with no Baptist work yet. For good health and protection as they travel. For the new mission church in Benton, Kansas.

4. October 28, 2007 Pray for Oklahoma missionaries Marlin and Patsy Hawkins: For wisdom to make the right choices with limited time and resources. For physical and spiritual health. For an opportunity to place a historical marker at the site of the first Choctaw Indian Baptist Church. For wisdom in selecting Heroes of the Faith from Oklahoma.
