Enabling Grids for E-sciencE EGEE-II INFSO-RI-031688 General View SW Federation within EGEE-II Proposal: –CSIC will be a local NA2 partner for Spain, and will be responsible for translations, local media relations, a local EGEE- II website and events. –LIP will be the local NA2 partner for Portugal and will be responsible for translations, local media relations and a local EGEE-II website. LIP is also involved in the EELA project, which will facilitate contacts to Latin America, and has a close relationship with the Portuguese NREN (FCCN), which will help to address the Portuguese research community. –RED.ES will be a local NA2 partner for Spain, working closely with the other Spanish partner CSIC for local translations, local media relations, a local EGEE-II website and events. 11 Enabling Grids for E-sciencE EGEE-II INFSO-RI-031688 Conclusions I NA2 SW Federation contribution: 1.5 FTE Usually there are more people envolved with NA2. We reach to a large number of interested groups within the potential and de facto grid community. NA2 activites are related to other EGEE activities. Dissemination works on two ways: –The oportunities arrive to people: invitations to talks. –The oportunities are created: organizing events
12
12 Enabling Grids for E-sciencE EGEE-II INFSO-RI-031688 Conclusions II We use the oportunities and our strongness: –There are better results disseminating close to us. –We are experts, then we are invited. –We are the reference. The potential user community is an specialised community: the dissemination rules should be specialised. Any event is a good oportunity.
