Cone By Daniel Smith and Eric Galatro

2 The 3 kinds of cones There is a: cone, circular cone, and right circular cone cone: V = hB/3 is the formula and it has a cone and it base is a circle Circular cone: the base is a circle and it is like a regular cone but this one has rough edges right circular cone: V = Pi r2h/3 is the formula and the axis is perpendicular to the base

3 Angles of a cone All cones have an angel in it.
Even if the cone looks as it doesn’t it does in any direction. A cone has an acute angel and a right angel.

4 Circular cone A circular cone has base is a circle. The line connecting the center of the base to the vertex is called the axis of the circular cone.

5  Right Circular Cone  In a right circular cone the axis is perpendicular to the base. (If the axis of a circular cone is not perpendicular to the base, it is called an oblique circular cone.)      The length of any line segment connecting the vertex to the directrix is called the      slant height of the cone.
