2 Who we are An NSF BPC Alliance focused on improving computing education across the entire state across the pipeline: –K-12 students –Secondary Computing teachers –Undergraduate Computing teachers Our alliance includes Georgia Tech (College of Computing and CEISMC), Georgia Department of Education, University System of Georgia, Girl Scouts, YWCA. –Growing with new partnerships with Morehouse College and local games developers.

6 Organization of Morning For each of our three levels of focus (K-12, secondary teachers, undergraduate teachers) : –20 minutes presenting what we do at that level, –10 minutes on assessment results in that area, –15 minutes discussion. 8:45-9:30: K-12 9:30-10:15: Secondary –10:15: Break 10:30-11:15: Undergraduate 11:15-12:15: Poster Session of Projects

7 Organization of Afternoon 12:15-1:30: Lunch –Site visit team goes to GT Hotel. –Everyone else, lunch here. 1:30-2: Future directions and responding to questions. 2-3: Brainstorming and Discussion –What’s working? What’s not? –How would you advise us?
